
General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Delivery

Payment Terms
Payment is due within 30 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed. For certain customers, advance payment may be required. After the due date, late payment interest is charged at the rate of 7.5%.
Scandivet operates in SEK, and for purchases from countries other than Sweden, the customer is responsible for any currency exchange fees.
Delivery Terms
Free shipping within Sweden for orders over 2,000 SEK. Orders placed on weekdays before 14:00 are shipped the same day if the items are in stock. Delivery is made to the specified delivery location. If the customer is unavailable or in any other way unable to receive the ordered delivery, an additional delivery fee of 1,000 SEK will be charged. Shipping costs for international orders are provided upon request. For orders under 500 SEK, an environmental fee of 100 SEK is added.
For non-stocked products (so-called “special order items”), delivery times vary, and an estimated delivery date can be provided upon contact with Scandivet.
Backorders
Items that are temporarily out of stock are backordered and do not need to be reordered. They will be shipped free of charge as soon as they arrive at Scandivet’s warehouse.
Returns
Incorrectly ordered stocked items can be returned for a fee of 500 SEK, covering shipping and handling costs. Additional costs may apply for returns from countries outside Sweden.
Incorrectly ordered non-stocked items (“special order items”) cannot be returned. Exceptions may be made upon agreement with Scandivet’s customer service, in which case the actual handling and shipping costs will be charged.
Incorrectly ordered refrigerated or sterile items cannot be returned.
No items may be returned without prior approval from Scandivet. Returns that are not approved will not be credited.
Complaints
Visible damage must be reported immediately to Scandivet’s customer support at +46 171-857 70 (press 1). Damage that is not visible upon delivery must be reported to Scandivet’s customer support within 5 business days of receiving the shipment. Missing goods must also be reported within 5 business days.
Customer support will send the customer a return shipping label. The customer must include a copy of the packing slip with the returned goods. The return must be packaged in an outer carton in such a way that the original packaging of the item is not damaged. Please do not write on the original packaging.
The customer will be credited for the cost of the item once the returned goods have been registered at Scandivet AB. Full credit is only given for incorrect or misdelivered items if above instructions are followed.

Transport Damage – Carrier’s Responsibility
All damage occurring during transport must be reported directly to the carrier. If you notice transport damage upon receipt, whether on the product or packaging, please report it immediately to the carrier by noting the damage on the freight document before signing for the delivery.
If the shipment was delivered under authorization (without a signature), you must report the transport damage directly to the carrier. Please note that the tracking/delivery number must be provided when filing a claim with the carrier.

If damage has occurred, do not use the product. It is also important to save the packaging so that the damage can be inspected during the claims process. Other questions related to our carriers can be directed to their customer service departments.
Product Range
The product range is continuously updated, meaning some products may be discontinued while new ones are added, and prices may be adjusted. The assortment in our online store (https://www.scandivet.se/butik/) is always up to date. Prices on the website are listed excluding VAT and apply until further notice. Scandivet AB reserves the right to immediately adjust prices if our purchase prices or other conditions change beyond our control.
Products should only be used according to the manufacturer’s specified usage area and scope.
Warranty
By accepting Scandivet’s terms and conditions, you acknowledge that Scandivet AB is only a distributor and not a manufacturer of the goods. This means that Scandivet transfers ownership of the goods from Scandivet AB to you as the customer upon purchase. This is the only warranty provided by Scandivet, and we disclaim all other warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and quality. The above warranty is only valid once Scandivet has received full payment for the goods.
Manufacturers may provide their own warranties. Any such warranties will be forwarded to you to the fullest extent possible. Scandivet is certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and our environmental policy permeates our entire business. We strive to become more environmentally friendly and have therefore set various environmental goals for our operations. With greater responsibility for nature and the environment, Scandivet follows an action plan to highlight more eco-friendly product alternatives for our customers. Current environmentally friendly products and suppliers have been mapped out, and a compilation of baseline data for these goals has also been carried out.
We continuously expand our range of more sustainable products, categorized as ECO products. Scandivet also supports the values of our owner, OneMed. OneMed takes responsibility by ensuring that products are manufactured under good conditions, that transportation leaves as small an environmental footprint as possible, and by applying a quality mindset based on work methods and processes, environmental impact, and social responsibility.
Internally, all work follows certified quality management systems covering marketing, sales, and distribution of medical equipment, as well as production and servicing of such equipment. Scandivet advocates reuse and therefore offers a range of second-hand equipment and accessories. This means that you can both sell used equipment to us and purchase refurbished items. In this way, we can reduce production and minimize waste of fully functional products.
